Generation Digital! – Supporting Digital Skills for the Next Generation

The project, named "Generation Digital (GD!)" aims at adapting to the fourth Industrial revolution (4IR) by proposing blended teacher training program in ICT. Focusing on digital literacy, the project aims at bridging the skills gaps, enhance teacher competence and prepare students for 21st century workforce.

The project includes Training of Trainer program, cascading digital literacy skills to 25 selected primary and secondary schools, 200 teachers, conducting face-to-face training for 150 teachers, and guiding them to train 500 teachers and 5,000 students.

In Kinondoni, Lushoto and Mbumbuli Districts the project is implimented by Open Mind Tanzania. At National Level TEN/MET hosting it. The project is funded by GIZ. This collaborative approach ensures sustainability, fosters community ownership, and cultivates lasting partnerships, thereby maximizing the project's impact and effectiveness.
